When to Use No.3 Glue
When parts have sharp edges, projections or recessed areas, a raking action against the mop face can wear the Lea compound head away prematurely. Applying No.3 Glue first reduces this.
Many operations formerly done with set-up wheels, which take a great deal of time to prepare, can be handled more quickly and economically with No.3 Glue and Lea compound, and heavy abrasive heads are easy to apply and renew.
How to Apply No.3 Glue
- Peel away about ½” of the plastic container; never peel away the complete container.
- Apply the glue to the mop in the same way as Lea compound.
- Head the mop with your chosen grade of Lea Greaseless Compound.
