The flexible abrasive strip wheels are mounted onto our MM506 6mm shank mandrel so can be used in a range of tools.
Aluminium Oxide Grit
perfect for any general metal working with Grit grades available for 60g very coarse to 400g fine. Great for Grinding and surface preparation.
Micromesh MX
This Abrasive Strip Wheel is a great product – perfect for hard steels, titanium and other metals.
Perfect for work on wood where contours need to remain. Ideal for getting into concave forms, curves, handles, sculptured items,
MicroMesh is famous for its use on plastics too and can be used on acrylics and most plastic material. This product is perfect for Plastics as it is soft and flexible and will produce airflow which will stop burning.
Grits are available from:
60 MX ( approx 240 grit)
120 MX ( approx 600 grit)
320 MX ( 1500 grit)
600 MX ( 5 micron)
800 MX (3 micron)
1200 MX is equivalent to 1 micron so really very ultra fine for fine polishing and finish.
