RODA Bore is suited to internal finishing tasks where extended reach and flexible abrasive nylon contact are more important than heavy stock removal. Typical uses include light deburring, cleaning and surface refinement inside bores, cross-holes, ports, tubes, cavities and other restricted-access features.

It is often a practical choice for customers who need a reusable, cost-effective system for general internal bore finishing. For highly controlled precision cross-hole deburring, especially on critical machined features, a specialist system such as XEBEC may be more appropriate.

Good Fit for RODA Bore

General internal bore cleaning, light burr removal, port refinement, tube finishing, internal surface preparation and repeat abrasive nylon finishing work.

Consider XEBEC Where...

The application requires specialist precision cross-hole deburring, controlled back-burr removal or a more defined ceramic-fibre tool contact point.

Important:
RODA Bore is not intended as a heavy stock-removal tool.
It is designed for controlled abrasive nylon contact where light deburring, cleaning or surface refinement is required.
Where tolerances, surface finish or critical geometry are involved, always test the process on representative parts before production use.

RODA Bore Refill Discs are available by grade, diameter and disc style. Choose the grade according to the burr, surface condition and finishing action required. Choose 30mm where a more compact contact area is needed, or 40mm where the component geometry allows broader abrasive nylon contact.

Regular discs provide a more continuous circular abrasive nylon contact area. Star discs provide additional edge contact and a more aggressive abrasive action where extra cutting contact is required.

Important: disc diameter is not a stated minimum bore-diameter figure. Effective access depends on the selected disc, bore entry, component geometry, working angle and required contact area.
