Cut off wheels are ultra thin cutting discs
Cut off wheels are ultra thin discs with good cut rate and a good price / quality ratio. For general trade and usage in stainless steel applications. Free of iron, sulphur and chlorine.
What is the difference between a grinding wheel and a cut off wheel?
C/off wheels cut small material workpieces at 90-degree angles, whereas grinding wheels grind large material workpieces from a low angle. As a result, c/off wheels are quite a bit thinner than grinding wheels. The thinness provides more clean, and accurate cuts.
What exactly are c/off wheels?
They are made of abrasive grain bonded with an organic bond system and used for cutting, notching and grinding. As you would expect from the name they are used for cutting – predominantly metal! So they are ideal for shaping and resizing.
