RODA Chamois Polishing Mops recommended use with:
These mops can be used on all metal types as well as glass.
- Ideal for use on Bench grinder/polisher, Flexible shaft machine or Hand drill/grinder. – You can see our full range of machines here.
- Use with a taper cone or pigtail.
- These mops must be used with a compound for best results. Low cut polishing compounds like Menzerna M5 or P175 are an excellent choice. – View all our available compounds.
- Precious Metals (Gold, Silver, Jewellery): Use Rouge compound
- Other Metals: Use Menzerna compound
- Glass: Use Pumice Powder, Cerium Oxide or Rouge compound
- You may also consider a paste such as Super Chrome or Ultra Lap for metals
What Size Polishing Mop should I use:
4″ Polishing mops – Use in an angle grinder with a tapered mandrel to hold it. They can also be used on a bench polisher for slower speed polishing
6″ Polishing Mops – These are most popular mops. Use with a 6″ bench polisher.
