Combination Ring Felt – Felt Taper for polishing rings. A really handy composition of felt wheel and taper, designed to cater for polishing inside and outside of rings. Part of our RODA range. Use with a polishing compound for fine mirror polishing. Primarily used by the jewellery industry, but can be used for other types of polishing e.g polishing inside bores.

How to achieve the perfect finish with RODA Felt and Rouge Compound (Precious Metals)
1. Prior to polishing make sure to use Tripoli Cutting Compound to remove any scratches/marks/edges/burrs for best results.
2. Mount your RODA felt onto a Bench Polisher using tapers/pigtails.
3. Load your felt with Rouge Compound by spinning the felt against the bar.
4. Then work the loaded felt against the metal.
5. Keep the felt moving at all times to avoid flats.
6. Wipe clean with Solvent Spray/Vienna Lime and a lint free polishing cloth.
