AA Rouge Polishing Compound
AA Rouge is a dry, ultrafine rouge for the final finishing of gold and silver. Branded Canning-Lippert and manufactured by Osborn GmbH, it is supplied as a 227g bar for use on soft polishing mops, felts and cotton wool mops.
As a finishing rouge it has very little cut, so remove scratches first with a cutting compound such as Apollo Tripoli, then finish on a soft, clean mop.
For the full rouge range, see Rouge Polishing Compounds.

- Load lightly: hold the AA Rouge bar briefly against a soft, running mop, such as a Reflex, Swansdown or loosefold mop.
- Finish and clean: polish to the final colour, then remove rouge residue.
Keep a dedicated mop for rouge so no cutting compound is carried into the finish. Wear suitable eye protection when machine polishing.
