Lea Brillmax (2755) Cut and Colour Compound
Lea Brillmax is the APH Industries bar previously sold by Moleroda as 2755, the yellow general-purpose bar. It balances cut and colour, so it refines the surface after cutting and brings up a bright finish ready for the final stage.
APH Industries lists Brillmax as a preparation bar for precious metals, used to grease silver before finishing. It also works as a general cut and bright bar on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Use it on a stitched or ventilated mop.
Where Brillmax Fits

How to Use Brillmax
- Prepare the surface: remove deep scratches with a cutting compound first.
- Fit the mop: use a stitched cotton mop for steady cut, or a ventilated mop for cooler running on larger parts.
- Load the mop: apply the bar briefly to the running mop, little and often.
- Cut and colour: polish with even pressure until marks are gone and the surface is bright.
- Finish: clean the part and move to a finishing compound on a separate mop.
