Foredom Filter Hood MAFH25-21
Foredom Filter Hood is designed to go with the small bench lathe M.BL although you could also use it on it’s own for example with a pendant motor.
Set to 220 Volt, with a UK plug ( fitted with a 110v – 220v selector)
The filter hood is designed for use at the bench in jewellery making, dental laboratories, and industrial operations to collect dust and larger particles produced from light grinding and polishing.
The CE Compliant Hood is made of powder coated, heavy gauge steel. It has a removable water-tight metal tray and a clear polycarbonate shield. A really useful feature is the goose neck LED light that is bright and long lasting.
Three filters (2 polyester and one charcoal) come packed with the unit that are easy to change and send to a refiner.
You can move the hood anywhere on a bench top. You can therefore use with it a flexible shaft handpiece, micromotor, and other bench top tools. Despite its small size, the filter hood offers strong suction power for removing particles of hazardous dust and reclaiming precious metal.
We would advise our customer that the Filter Hood is NOT to be used as a fume hood or for removal of soldering fumes.

For Engineers
These little hoods are a good solution for small scale extraction system. They only work with a small polisher but can be used at a work bench in front of a dremel or micromotor system used by hand. They light is extremely helpful too as the whole set up fits in a tight space.
For Jewellers
This hood is especially good for jewellers as the scale is perfect. A really neat little system together with the bench lathe. The hood can collect lemel which is very handy indeed, whilst also keeping your workspace clean.
