Junior & Regatron Base Machines
Junior and Regatron form the drive platform at the heart of the Polierbock system. The standard electrical supply is 400 V and both machines include a highly effective electromagnetic brake and transparent protective hood. Both are available as the compact PB 2 or the larger, higher-output PB 3.
Selection follows three steps:
- Speed-control type
- Machine platform
- Operating-speed range
Junior – Three Selectable Speed Settings
Junior provides three switch-selectable speeds for consistent, repeatable processing and operates clockwise as standard; clockwise/anticlockwise switching is available as an option.
Select the speed group that covers the required operating range, then choose the PB 2 or PB 3 platform.
- PB 2 is the compact Junior platform with a 173 mm centre height.
- PB 3 increases the machine dimensions, centre height and motor output for larger or more demanding work.

Junior or Regatron?
Junior is the defined-speed system for repeatable production.
Regatron is the continuously variable system for processes requiring greater speed control and flexibility.
The same drive-system choice carries through to Praktika and Mechanika.
Praktika & Mechanika Configurations
Praktika and Mechanika extend the Junior or Regatron drive system with dedicated workholding or tool-positioning equipment. The required speed-control type and PB platform remain integral to the finished machine.
Praktika – Baseplate and Tailstock
Praktika combines a Junior three-speed or Regatron variable-speed drive with a baseplate and tailstock. The tailstock supports shafts, spindles, axles and tube sections throughout polishing, grinding, deburring and related finishing operations.
