The tool interfacing consists of a flexible terylene resilient material, through which it is impregnated with nickel micro-pellets containing diamond abrasives. Diamond is the hardest abrasive available, therefore it removes stock fast and retains it’s speed of cutting throughout it’s working life. The tool material is cool running. To obtain maximum lifespan, use with wet lubrication.
Very popular for use on glass for removing sharp burrs etc on finished glass work.
For Engineers
Diamond grit makes these files particularly useful for hard to cut metals. Use them wet or dry to bevel edges, finish delicate surfaces or sharpen tools.
For Jewellers
Very popular with jewellers and silversmiths as well as precision engineers and watchmakers. The files are very versatile and work on a huge range of materials.
