Rosler’s vibratory liquid compounds are essential for efficient wet finishing in tumblers, rumblers, vibro machines, and barrel polishers. They work with plastic, ceramic, or porcelain media to:
-
Extend media life
-
Improve surface finish on parts
-
Prevent clogging and metal build-up
-
Reduce foam in wet vibro machines
FC115 is ideal for ferrous metals requiring corrosion protection, while FC120 is a neutral, biodegradable compound suited for polishing all metals, including aluminium, brass, copper, stainless steel, titanium, and precious metals.
Key Features
-
FC115 – Corrosion Protection Compound
-
Protects rust-prone metals (iron, steel) in wet finishing processes
-
Cleans and flushes away metal fines from media
-
-
FC120 – Cleaning & Polishing Compound
-
Universal compound for metals and some plastics
-
Degreases components and prevents media clogging
-
Produces bright, polished, and satin finishes
-
Neutral, biodegradable, environmentally friendly
-
-
Shared Features:
-
Extend media life for plastic, ceramic, or porcelain media
-
Compatible with vibratory tumblers, rumbler machines, or barrel polishers
-
Use at 1–2% concentration mixed with water
-
Reduces build-up of metal fines and debris
-
Applications
Both compounds can be used to:
-
Deburr castings, stampings, and machined parts
-
Clean and polish metals and plastics
-
Prepare parts for coating or lacquering
-
Improve surface finish and remove burrs
-
Maintain cleaner media and prevent clogging
FC115 is recommended when anti-corrosion is a priority, especially for steel or iron parts.
FC120 is best for achieving a brighter, polished finish, and can be used on all metals, including precious metals.
Metal Compatibility
| Compound | Metals |
|---|---|
| FC115 | Iron, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium, zinc |
| FC120 | All metals including iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium, pewter, gold, silver |
Usage Instructions
-
Mix 1–2% compound with water.
-
Load parts and media into vibratory tumbler, rumbler, or barrel polisher.
-
Avoid overuse to prevent excessive froth and reduced finishing efficiency.
-
Monitor progress; clean media as needed for optimal results.
-
For FC115, corrosion protection is active during the wet vibro cycle.
-
For FC120, polishing and cleaning effects enhance surface brightness while protecting metals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
What metals can I use these compounds on?
-
FC115: Iron, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium, zinc
-
FC120: All metals including stainless steel, titanium, pewter, aluminium, brass, copper, gold, silver
How do I use Vibratory Liquid Compound?
-
Dilute 1–2% with water and use in a vibratory tumbler, rumbler, or barrel polisher. Avoid overuse to prevent frothing.
-
Little to no compound: you will find black dirt stuck onto your metal parts and the compound you are using will stop working.
-
Too much compound: you will have a bubble explosion! – This will cushion the rumbling or tumbling process and it will be less effective, which reduces the effectiveness of the vibro machine.
Can I use FC115 and FC120 on the same project?
Yes. Use FC115 for initial deburring and rust-sensitive parts, then switch to FC120 for polishing and brightening.
How do I store these compounds?
Keep sealed and away from heat. Store upright and avoid contamination with other chemicals.
Please note, multiple 25l drums will have to palatized, and extra shipping charges will vary.
