Rubber Point Sets
Rubber Point Sets on 2.35mm or 3mm spindles.
Each kit consists of an assortment of 10 rubber points in 3 assorted grits. Contents may vary slightly from the image.
Conical and cylindrical kits. Conical points are great for getting into detail, however you can easily shape a cylinder shaped point to suit the job you are doing. The material is firm and long lasting, but soft enough to shape easily with basic tools.
- Grits
- Red 80g
- Blue 120g
- Green 180g
For light deburring – blending – polishing – especially good on non-ferrous metals – easily shaped and clean to use.
Sets on 2.35mm are particularly popular with jewellers.
Used for Smoothing scratches, light marks and pitting and burrs ready for polishing. The 180g leaves a bright finish ready to start polishing. Use them inside bores and around sharp edges to remove burrs. There is no need for any compound, the rubber points leave a clean finish. They work on all metals and are of an excellent quality. The rubber is high quality and works well even on steel.
Used With a flexshaft, micromotor or Dremel type hobby tool. They are mounted on either a 3mm spindle or 2.35mm so please check which size you require. Tips Shape the points against an old file to make them conical shaped to get into detail.
Popular With Jewellers, fabricators, polishers, DIY polishing, Bikers, Car Restorers
An excellent tool for speeding up finishing.
For Engineers
For Engineers kit 20 is most likely to suit on a 3mm spindle. The grits are ideal for scratch removal and light deburring. The rubber is pretty solid so these points last well.
For Jewellers
Kit 58 is likely to suit jewellers as they are on a 2.35mm spindle. The grits are suitable for smoothing and scratch removal before polishing. These rubber points are a bit harder than silicone wheels so will last a bit longer.
