Airflow Mops

Airflow mops allow air circulation into the mop giving a natural cooling effect – They are designed for use on Plastic (including resin) and other temperature sensitive materials. Perfect for Plastic and Veneer polishing. The Flaps in the Cloth Wheel cools the polishing surface cool and reduces heat caused by friction. So there is less danger of melting the component. Each grade of mop can be supplied in different densities, I.e. hard calico, medium density, can be manufactured with more tucks of material, producing a more dense mop face. Or similarly, with less tucks than the medium density, producing a softer flexible mop face.

Each section is approximately 1/2” wide, except for Swansdown sections, which are approximately 5/8” wide. We also supply single bias sisal or single calico sections, treated or untreated – centre plates and end plates – for use on parallel spindles or automatic buffing machines.
