Materials:

• Precious metals (Gold, Silver, Jewellery)
  • Use G mops, Dry Sisal is too aggressive, with rouge or Menzerna compounds for a bright shiny finish.
• Non-Ferrous metals (Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze)
  • Both mop types are suitable. We recommend Apollo compound for cutting, 2000D for a good finish and 309BX for a really brilliant mirror finish.
• Ferrous metals (Stainless Steel, Steel, Iron, Mould tools)
  • Start with dry sisal and Abracut compound, then 2000D compound and FF9 white compound for a really great bright mirror finish.

• Perfect for any pendant motor, micromotor, air tool or hobby tool. – View our range of machines here
  • We recommend a speed of 12,000 RPM with these mops and a machine with variable speed is best.
• Choose your compound based on your desired result – See our available compounds here
  • Use Dry Sisals & G Mops with cutting compound.
  • Use G Mops with polishing compound.
•  It is important to get the pre-polish right as it directly impacts the quality of the final polish.
  • We recommend cutting before polishing. Work through the grades from Dry Sisal > G Mop for best results
