A Metal polishing kit designed for detail polishing with a drill or air tool. Felt bobs made in our UK factory, compound and vienna lime suited to jobs such as bike and car part polishing.

  • Kit 9 – For polishing Non-Ferrous metals i.e Aluminium, Brass, Copper, pewter etc
  • Kit 8 – For polishing Ferrous metals i.e Steel, Stainless Steel

Metal polishing kit with felt bobs and compound for polishing aluminium (kit 8) and stainless steel (kit 9)

How to use you Metal polishing kit with felt  for Preparing and polishing metal. Start with cutting compound for the first cut, then polish the metal with polishing compound.

Load the felts with compound by running against the compound bar. Try not to overload, add more as you go.

Try not to dwell in one area and keep moving over the metal. Use a new felt for each compound, don’t mix compounds on the same felt.

We recommend cleaning up residue and haze with Vienna Lime- dip a soft lint free cloth in the Vienna lime and wipe over the polished item.

Used With a standard drill or air tool. Please ensure your tool can take 6mm shanks.
