Felt wheel kit for jewellers

Felt wheel Kit for jewellers includes:

30 x 22.5mm x 4.5mm extra hard felt wheels
Mandrel on a 2.35mm spindle
Rouge (polishing) & Tripoli (cutting) for precious metals

Used For:

Polishing precious metals.

Use With:

Dremel type hobby tool or air tool, pendant motor, basically any rotary tool that will take a 2.35mm spindle. See our range of micromotors here.

How To Use:

Mount a felt wheel in your tool, spin against the compound to load then move over the surface to be polished. Use the brown compound first to smooth and flatten the metal. Keep going until scratches are smoothed. If deep scratches are present use wet and dry to flatten the metal before polishing. Only then move on to the rouge compound to bring up to a high shine. Keep moving, avoid dwelling. Dwelling causes heat build up and ‘flats’. Always use a new felt for each type of compound. Mixing won’t give good results. Always use a compound as the felt won’t do the job on it’s own.
